Targeted job applications

Dauer: 2 Tage // Sprache: englisch
Themenfeld: Karriere & Bewerbung // Zielgruppe: Doktorand:innen, Gruppenleiter:innen, Post-Docs

“Submitting a job application? I haven’t done that in such a long time…”

What used to seem a trivial and straightforward task can be quite a challenge now, especially if you are coming from the academic world. However, success in the job application process can be instrumental in determining whether or not you will make your lifelong dream a reality, or, at the very least, what prospects you have for the future. We will discuss and prepare the written part of an application and the actual job interview in detail. Interactive exercises will encompass thorough analyses, followed by self-monitoring, and will finish off by focusing on how to present oneself in an assured manner.
